    Death as Feelings (Upright)

-Transformation. The Death card can often frighten people, but in truth, it is such a beautiful energy that this card represents. Ultimately, this beautiful card, as far as feelings are concerned, represents someone who is feeling a great shift in their emotions. There is a death of the old feelings, which leads to a birth of the new ones.

-Transition. The Death card marks the transition of energy. This is the movement of energy from one form to the next. In the context of feelings, that typically means someone is shifting from feeling one way to feeling another.

    Death as Feelings (Reversed)

-Resistance to change. The Death card always resembles change, however, in terms of feelings, this person may be resistant to the change. Their current state of feelings may not allow for them to progress.

-Clinging to the past. There could be extreme feelings of clinging on to a past, which does not allow for transformation, and limits the person's future.

-Fear. Fighting is futile, because life moves on.

    Tips in a Reading

The Death card shouldn't be feared, because ultimately it means transformation.

Pay very close attention to the nuances between the upright and reversed position, if reading reversals.

When interpreting the Death card as someone's feelings, pay attention to the surrounding cards to determine if someone is hiding their feelings to themselves or someone else.
