It resembles things hidden, deception, or darkness. Occasionally, it can refer to a type of person.
Sometimes the card can elude to things that are only revealed in our dreams.
The Moon (Reversed)
When The Moon card appears in the reversed position, it has different meanings.
This could point to the unveiling of secrets that were once hidden, which are now or about to come to light.
It could also signal blocked intuition, as the moon does stand for our intuition.

The Moon card in tarot, depicts first of all, a night time sky with a giant moon.
Under it is a path leading far into the distance in the dark.
On either side of the path is a dog and a wolf, howling at the moon, representing civilized nature, and uncivilized.
A craw fish or scorpion can be observed crawling out of the water onto the path. This creature represents the sign of Scorpio.
There are two towers in the distance, on either side of the path again, referring to doubles seen in this card.
