King Of Pentacles As A Person

This magnificent King of Pentacles is the most successful King in the deck, in terms of material satisfaction. They have mastered their realm in terms of wealth, family, stability, and success. This Earth energy is the masculine counterpart to the Queen, however as a person, they can be male or female.

King of Pentacles as a Person (Upright)

    • Successful. This individual has gained success in many rights. They are revered and highly admired.
    • Ambitious. They are not a complacent person. They thrive on building their empire; however that looks for them.
    • Confident. This person is not only confident, but their confidence also attracts others.
    • Established. This is a very stable individual.
    • Head of household. They might be the "commander in chief" of their household, or hold a certain prominent status in their community. They are looked upon for guidance and assurance.
    • Business-savvy. They are likely extremely responsible and productive when it comes to money.

King of Pentacles as a Person (Reversed)

When the King of Pentacles appears reversed, and it's being interpreted as a person, this isn't the best signal. It could mean a variety of things.

    • Lost his throne. At one time this person was prosperous, but they lost it all.
    • Overstretched. For example, lived beyond their means, leading to financial ruin.
    • Quantity over quality. They may have an issue with valuing quantity over quality. They may be vain and base worth solely on outward appearances rather than true quality of life.
    • Material imbalance. This person may put too much importance on the material, instead of cultivating the things in life that provide much more value long-term in life. They live in the moment, and put emphasis on what things look like to others.

    Tips in a Reading

The King of Pentacles is the masculine counterpart to the Queen, however this refers to energy, not gender. Everyone possesses feminine and masculine energies, no matter if they are male or female. It is not gender specific.

When reversed pay attention to if the devil card is nearby, as this could indicate a gambling problem, or issues with being responsible with money.
